The PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT provides services to the
RESIDENTS of the CITY of HOBART.
Hobart Public Works is divided into the following departments:
STREET DEPARTMENT and SANITATION DEPARTMENT.
It is the goal of this department to deliver CITY SERVICES WITH HIGH QUALITY.
We will answer questions in a timely and courteous fashion. While not all questions pertain to city services, we will try to put you in contact with the Department or Agency to handle your question.
Services provided by this Department include: TRASH COLLECTION, RECYCLING, COMPOST, BRUSH COLLECTION, LEAF COLLECTION, STREET MAINTENANCE, PAVING, and MOSQUITO SPRAYING.
